Who is Jaden?

Jaden grew up in Highland, Utah, and began playing trumpet in 7th grade at Mountain Ridge Junior High School. He continued to excel in trumpet and was soon performing with the top groups in Junior High, High School, and College. He participated in several honor bands and groups during high school and was a member of the 2012 and 2013 Utah All State Bands, and the 2013 Utah All State Jazz Band, as Lead Trumpet.

Jaden was a member of Caleb Chapman's Soundhouse, and performed and played lead trumpet in the Voodoo Orchestra, La Onda Caribena and the prestigious Crescent Super Band. In May of 2013, he performed with these groups at Carnegie Hall, on their own night that featured saxophonist David Sanborn and trumpet legend, Wayne Bergeron.

He received a bachelor's degree in Trumpet Performance from Utah Valley University in 2021. While there he studied with instructors Kyra Sovronsky, and Dr. Ryan Nielsen. He has been teaching for the past 15 years and is well known in the music education community. When not teaching, he performs with several different bands of varying styles all around Utah. When not doing music, he loves spending time with family, being outdoors, watching Star Wars, and hot tubbing.
